Deepmedi Inc. is a South Korean digital health technology company developing AI-powered, camera-based health monitoring solutions. Founded in 2017, Deepmedi makes health measurement more accessible by transforming everyday devices—including smartphones, tablets, and webcams—into tools for monitoring vital signs and supporting proactive health management.
Our core technology uses photoplethysmography (PPG) and remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) to analyze subtle optical changes associated with blood circulation. Through short facial or fingertip video recordings, our solutions estimate physiological indicators such as heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, depending on the product and its intended use. We also provide wellness indicators related to stress, fatigue, and stress resilience to help users better understand their daily condition.
DeepCheck, our flagship health management platform, combines convenient camera-based measurements with a centralized management dashboard. Available through mobile applications and tablet kiosks, it enables workers to check their condition and helps managers review measurement histories, questionnaire responses, and changes that may require attention. The platform supports daily health management across construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and other demanding work environments.
Deepmedi has expanded its workplace health management services across South Korea and Japan. In Korea, our solutions have been used at 46 sites, reaching more than 17,500 workers. In Japan, we have worked with Kajima Corporation to introduce DeepCheck at a construction site, progressing from a proof of concept to operational deployment. The solution was also featured during a site visit by the Tokyo Labour Bureau. Deepmedi was selected as the winner of the 2026 BuiltWorlds Tokyo Global Summit Demo Day Competition, recognizing the relevance of our technology to the built environment.
Beyond our own platform, Deepmedi provides SDK and API integration options for organizations seeking to incorporate camera-based health monitoring into their existing applications, devices, and services. Our technology supports a range of deployment formats, including smartphones, kiosks, PCs, and smart mirrors, creating opportunities for collaboration across occupational health, digital healthcare, insurance, and connected wellness services.
Deepmedi has obtained South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approvals for blood pressure and pulse analysis software, including camera-based non-contact blood pressure software. We have also obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management. Product features and availability are tailored to the intended use and applicable regulatory requirements in each market.
Our research and development combines biomedical engineering, optical signal processing, and artificial intelligence, supported by collaborations with hospitals and academic institutions. We continue to advance camera-based physiologicalmeasurement and explore its applications in longitudinal health monitoring and clinical research.
