Skills for Security - The Fire Alarm System Challenge

Skills for Security UK, in partnership with Temasek Polytechnic’s Security Industry Institute, proudly presents the first ever Fire Alarm System Challenge in Asia - happening live at The Fire Safety Event Asia, 10–12 November 2026 in Singapore.

Two Days. Eight Technicians. One Challenge.

Across two action-packed days, four Fire Alarm Systems Technicians per day will go head-to-head in dedicated competition booths, racing against the clock to install, test and commission the same four-zone conventional Fire Detection & Alarm System.

Each day, 1 winner will be crowned, and at the end of the event, an overall champion will rise above the rest.

Attractive prizes will be awarded to the daily winners and the overall champion.

If you have the skills to install, troubleshoot, integrate and commission security systems — whether you’re an experienced technician, apprentice or recent graduate — this is your chance to put them to the test.

Participation Terms & Conditions

There are no registration fees. However, participants must make a firm commitment to participate in the entire competition programme:

(1) Commit to 1 full competition day during the 3-day event. Daily winners will receive their prizes on the same day.

(2) The overall champion will be invited to the final day to receive the grand prize.
