Singapore’s workplaces are among the safest in the world. Twenty years after the Workplace Safety and Health Act came into force, while injury rates have reached record lows, progress cannot be taken for granted. The next phase of improvement will depend less on new requirements and more on how leaders own safety and health, how prevention is embedded in everyday work and how we can adapt with the changing landscape of work.
