Adrian Kotowski
General Manager of the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC),
Executive Risk Solutions
Adrian Kotowski is an accomplished security and intelligence professional with extensive experience across Defence, law enforcement, emergency management, and the private sector. He currently serves as the General Manager of the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) at Executive Risk Solutions (ERS), where he leads a multidisciplinary team providing intelligence-led security and operational support to clients operating in complex environments across Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Pacific.
Adrian’s career has included senior intelligence and operational roles with the Australian Army’s Special Operations Command, Serco Asia Pacific, and the Western Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). In these positions, he was responsible for establishing and managing intelligence teams, developing threat analysis frameworks, and providing high-level strategic and operational advice to senior decision-makers during critical incidents and sensitive operations.
At ERS, Adrian has been central to building a capability that integrates open-source intelligence (OSINT), spatial behaviour analysis, technical surveillance countermeasures, and real-time digital overwatch into a coherent security and risk framework. This approach enables ERS to support clients in sectors such as mining, energy, government, and ultra-high-net-worth security, delivering tailored intelligence and operational solutions in both metropolitan and remote locations.
His work places a strong emphasis on the fusion of structured intelligence processes with modern technologies, including governed data environments, automated collection, and AI-assisted analysis. This integration ensures that intelligence outputs are accurate, timely, and directly applicable to operational decision-making, enhancing situational awareness and risk posture for client organisations.
Adrian regularly contributes to strategic planning, capability development, and operational coordination for high-risk activities, including travel risk management, crisis response, and protective security operations. Through his leadership, the ERS EOC has become a trusted partner for organisations seeking to understand and manage security threats in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environments.
