Cheng Peng is the Senior Deputy Director of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Technology and Applied Research at the Occupational Safety and Health Division in the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore. He leads efforts to advance Singapore's WSH technology ecosystem and drive industry adoption of technology solutions that enhance workplace safety and health outcomes. His team has also developed and rolled out iWorkHealth, which assesses workplace stress and its underlying stressors, and iOwnWSH, which measures organisational WSH ownership — both of which have become key instruments in shaping WSH practices and culture across Singapore.

In his concurrent role leading International WSH for the division, Cheng Peng works to strengthen Singapore's standing on the global stage. He spearheads strategic initiatives to position Singapore as a centre of excellence for WSH practices, forging international partnerships and facilitating meaningful knowledge exchange with counterparts around the world.
