Dr. Chia is a Senior Scientist and Lecturer at the School of Informatics & IT, Temasek Polytechnic. He has extensive experience collaborating with industry partners to translate real-world problem statements into applied research projects, driving the development of innovative solutions through the active involvement of academic staff and students. He holds a Ph.D. and possesses deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and software development. Beyond his professional work, Dr. Chia also serves as a Grassroots Leader at Punggol Link Residents’ Network, which recently received Singapore’s Friendly Neighbourhood Award in 2025. In this role, he has championed the integration of technology into community services to enhance engagement and impact.
