Chris Tilley is Head of Commercial at the Fire Industry Association (FIA), the UK's largest fire protection trade association, representing more than 1,300 member companies across the fire safety sector.

Chris leads the FIA's commercial strategy, international development and industry engagement activities, working closely with manufacturers, fire and rescue services, government departments, certification bodies and international partners to promote best practice and support the growth of the UK fire industry. He is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding the FIA's international presence, and overseeing a broad portfolio of commercial initiatives, events and member services.

As Secretariat to the FIA Export Council and Technology Council, Chris works at the intersection of industry, government and technical experts, helping to shape collaborative programmes that improve fire safety, promote UK expertise overseas and address emerging challenges across the built environment.

A regular conference speaker and panel moderator, Chris has particular interests in international trade, competency, standards development and strengthening collaboration between industry, regulators and fire and rescue services.

As an FIA Industry Ambassador for Fire Safety Event Asia, Chris supports the development of the conference programme and wider industry engagement, helping to ensure the event reflects the latest priorities, innovations and opportunities across the global fire safety community.
