Mr Faizal Zainal leads the Security Industry Institute at Temasek Polytechnic, where he oversees the Continuing Education & Training (CET) centre's delivery of nationally recognised security training programmes and supports upskilling initiatives for Singapore's security workforce. He also sits on the Security Industry ITM Tripartite Committee, providing insights on curriculum development, training standards and workforce development needs to support the committee's strategic planning for the security sector.

In addition to his role at Temasek Polytechnic, Mr Faizal serves as a board member of the Security Consultancy Accreditation Programme (SCAP) and on the programme advisory committee for the Bachelor of Public Safety and Security at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), contributing his expertise to industry and educational standards.

Through his various roles, Mr Faizal contributes to Singapore's security capabilities by connecting practical experience with academic training and industry development.
