Fintan joined Ideal Systems Group in 2011 to establish their Southeast Asia (SEA) business which now has offices in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta. Subsequently Ideal have built TV studios, facilities and systems for RTM, SingTel, MediaCorp, Sony Pictures, Fox Sports, Astro, CNN, Metro TV, CNBC, SUKE.TV, iFAST.TV, Football Association of Singapore (FIFA Certified), and many more.

Fintan is a member of the Asia Broadcast Union’s (ABU) Engineering Excellence Awards panel of judges. In 2017, Fintan added a Pro-AV division to Ideal Systems which has grown quickly in the Hospitality, Government, Medical, Government, Education and Marine industries. Ideal Systems is a founder member of the Audio Visual and Lighting Association of Singapore, (AVLIAS) which is the only representative body of the Pro-AV industry in Singapore, and of which Fintan is a council member https://avliasingapore.org/secretariat-office/
