Roger Lee
Roger Lee possess an MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Economics (Hons) from the University of San Francisco. He is further trained in various management functions and possess a Diploma in Marketing (IMUK), Diploma in Management Studies (Singapore Institute of Management), Diploma in Communications, Advertising and Marketing (CAM,UK) and he is also a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M., USA).
Roger Lee is the Director for the Singapore Institute of Materials Management (SIMM) and oversees the operations and the academic affairs of SIMM.
He was previously the managing director of 2 high technology companies, namely Innotech Electronics, and Pinnacle Global Private Ltd, and involved in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of electronic components. Before he set up his own companies, he was working for a MNC located in Silicon Valley, California for 5 years, managing the procurement and supply chain functions.
Roger Lee is also the Chairman of the Technopreneurship Incubation Centre located at the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore. The center aims in developing and nurturing young entrepreneurs in the technology arena. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Logistics Federation (www.aplf.net) since 2009 to present.
He has hands-on completed various consultancies in the supply chain management strategies, which would enable a company to become efficient in the production and distribution methodologies. The projects, which he has successfully implemented are E-Commerce supply chain portals for integration of the logistics function.
Roger was the adjunct senior teaching fellow of Curtin University, in the department of Logistics and supply chain management. He has assisted Curtin University in the design of the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in logistics management.
Roger Lee was the adjunct professor in Logistics of the Beijing Normal University at the Zhuhai (BNUZ) campus, and he is a frequent lecturer at the BNUZ university.
Most recently, Mr. Lee had co-authored 5 books, “The Making of a Technopreneur”, “The Making of a Shell LiveWire Entrepreneur”, and “World Class Logistics and Supply Chain Management”, “Knowledge Management, Principles and Applications”, “World Class Logistics Management (Chinese version).”
