With more than 30 years of experience, he has overseen market operations in the United States. States, Hong Kong/China, Vietnam, and other Asian regions. His core expertise lies in optimising fastening performance – regulating fixing action force, tensile strength, and compliance with global standards on chemicals and heavy-metal contents. Currently, Mr. Somekawa serves on Kiyohara’s R&D team, developing heat-and fire-resistant Nylon snap fasteners. His work focuses on integrating advanced polymers to deliver durable, Lightweight closures suitable for protective garments and industrial safety tools.
