Sarkim has been an active practitioner in the physical security equipment industry since 1999. He is the founder of the Physical Security System Community (Komunitas Sistem Keamanan) and an executive board member of AISKINDO, the largest physical security association in Indonesia.
One of his notable professional milestones was delivering surveillance camera security solutions for the 2013 APEC Summit in Bali, specifically covering the Bali Toll Road—a vital route traversed by participating heads of state and international delegates.
Today, Sarkim is a prominent physical security influencer dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of physical security systems. He frequently organizes industry events and business networking sessions for security stakeholders, spanning CCTV cameras, IP cameras, access control, automated gates, fire alarms, and smart home solutions.
Since 2018, he has regularly been invited to represent and lead association delegations at major international exhibitions and seminars across China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
