Sébastien Viallet is an experienced Occupational Health and Safety leader with more than 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has held senior OHS, HSEEQ and HSEQ leadership roles in industrial, utilities, water, waste, energy, facilities management and semiconductor environments, and is currently APAC Senior EHS Director at Applied Materials.

Throughout his career, Sébastien has led regional and multi-country OHS strategies, supporting organizations with complex operations, diverse cultures, and decentralized teams. His experience includes implementing and harmonizing management systems, deploying ISO certifications, developing high-risk activity standards, leading audits and technical support programs, and strengthening safety leadership across operational teams.

Based in Singapore, he has worked extensively on aligning OHS expectations across countries and business units, while promoting local ownership, accountability and continuous improvement. He has also driven measurable safety performance improvements, including significant reductions in frequency and severity rates, and has contributed to regional and corporate OHS governance through centers of excellence and management committees.

Sébastien brings a practical, field-oriented perspective to OHS leadership, with a strong focus on engagement, standardization, risk management, and building effective safety cultures across geographically dispersed organizations.
