Dr. Swapna Dayanandan, Ph.D. (Gerontology), is CEO and Founder of Joy in Living Aged Care Services Pte Ltd, a social enterprise providing geron-technology and innovative eldercare solutions to address the challenges and opportunities of an aging population in Singapore and globally. Dr. Swapna is the recipient of a grant from Ngee Ann Kongsi to spearhead and lead a consortium of partners in designing and implementing an impactful community initiative: "Kampong Palliative Care" (KPC). This 1.5-year initiative commenced in September 2024, and its launch on 30 November 2024, was graced by Dr. Gerard Ee, Chairman of the Agency for Integrated Care.

Dr. Swapna is an Associate Faculty with the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She heads the Smart Healthcare Workgroup of Smart Cities Network and is currently involved in several smart healthcare projects across ASEAN.

Dr. Swapna is past President of Sree Narayana Mission, Singapore (SNM), a charity active in the eldercare sector. She continues to volunteer at SNM. Dr. Swapna is the recipient of two National Day Awards: The Commendation Medal (2018) and the Long Service Medal (2021).
