APAVMI aims to be a government partner in creating government regulatory policies related to the audio, video, and music equipment business sector, as well as a partner for entrepreneurs and activists of audio, video, and music equipment. In this case, APAVMI acts as a bridge between the two parties above as well as a forum for the ideas of activists who automatically become members in their efforts to advance and encourage the world of audio, video, and music to receive a larger portion of the state budget. Another hope is that APAVMI will also contribute ideas to the preparation of policies and regulations related to the audio, video, and music equipment industry and trade in Indonesia.
