GoodSAM Alerting and Dispatch
Alerting and Dispatch is the tasking engine behind GoodSAM responder deployments worldwide, including live operations in Australia, New Zealand and Brunei.
Targeting: alerts are matched on live GPS proximity, responder skill set and qualification tier, current duty status, certification validity and equipment carried. Governance tiers are fully configurable, so a service can restrict alerts to nationally registered clinicians, to locally governed community responders, to first aid trained volunteers, or to any combination that fits local regulation.
Why this fits the region: many Asian systems rely on mixed models, combining statutory ambulance provision with charitable foundations, volunteer rescue organisations, village and neighbourhood level responders and private providers. GoodSAM governs all of them in one platform rather than forcing separate systems per group.
In operation:
- Push alert with incident location, category and attached notes
- Accept or decline in app, with automatic escalation to the next nearest responder
- Live tracking and ETA back to the control room
- Turn by turn navigation to the incident and to the nearest registered AED or emergency kit
- Full audit trail of who was alerted, who responded and when
- Open API for CAD triggered alerting, so tasking happens automatically
