Registered equipment is only useful if the record is accurate and the kit actually works. GoodSAM Emergency Kits keeps registries live rather than letting them decay.

The regional problem: AED placement across Asia has expanded rapidly through building codes, transport operators, malls, workplaces and government programmes, but ownership is split across many parties. Control rooms frequently cannot tell a responder where the nearest working device is, or whether the building is open. GoodSAM brings those records into one governed registry with an accountable guardian for each asset.

Registry data held per asset:

  • Precise location by latitude and longitude, or easting and northing
  • Access instructions, cabinet codes and detail such as floor, lobby or platform level
  • Availability, from 24/7 through to bespoke hours for each day of the week, which matters where devices sit inside malls, offices and transport hubs
  • Guardian and owner contact details
  • Serial number, model, pad and battery expiry
  • Condition and readiness status

Operational use:

  • Nearest available AED served automatically to responders during a cardiac arrest alert
  • Public facing locator maps for community awareness campaigns
  • Automated readiness prompts to guardians, with escalation when a check is missed
  • Coverage gap reporting to guide investment in new equipment
  • Full API for bulk import, synchronisation and integration with existing national registries

Covers AEDs, public access bleed control kits, trauma packs and other community placed equipment.
