Survival from out of hospital cardiac arrest is decided in the first few minutes, long before an ambulance can realistically arrive. GoodSAM Responder mobilises the people who are already close by.

When a CAD identifies a suspected cardiac arrest, GoodSAM automatically alerts nearby registered responders and simultaneously directs them to the closest available AED. Responders can be off duty doctors, nurses and paramedics, locally governed community first responders, or citizens holding current first aid certification. Governance tiers are configurable to match national regulation and clinical oversight requirements in each jurisdiction.

Regional relevance: Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan face rapidly ageing populations and rising cardiac arrest incidence. High rise residential density adds vertical access delay that ground response cannot solve. Community response is the only intervention that reliably compresses time to first CPR.
