One unit carries twelve fused sensors: dual-spectrum photoelectric smoke, carbon monoxide, heat, pressure, humidity, light, motion, sound, vibration, tilt and orientation. Sampling is continuous at 100 Hz. Analysis runs on the device.
A fire is declared only when six independent signals agree. Triple confirmation, a self-cleaning fan and more than nineteen nuisance filters separate real events from cooking smoke, steam and dust. Alarm escalation runs on four levels.
Nodes link to each other over an encrypted proprietary mesh: 1 km class in line of sight, roughly 250 m through built structures, two decks and three closed doors aboard ship. No gateway. No cabling. Radio silent by default. Ten-year battery in standard service.
Deployment is five minutes per unit, crate to live, on a magnetic base. Units are redeployable and thresholds are tuned remotely to local temperature and humidity.
Supervision through the Munin portal, with open API, MQTT, SDK and on-premise options. Hardware plus monthly subscription.
Indoor installation. Heimdall is an auxiliary system: it supplements a code-compliant fire alarm system.
