The LFIM® Intervention Kit is the combination of the
LFIM®mask ready to use ” and a pair of fire, heat and
impactprotected gloves in one kit. The LFIM® Intervention
Kit is designed to protect person-nel during lithium-ion
battery incidents caused by thermal runaway. Such events
release toxic and flammable gases that may ignite and
produce intense heat. The kit combines the Lithium Fire
Intervention Mask (LFIM®) — providing up to 15 minutes of
respiratory protection against combustion gases and
vapors — with heat- and impact-resistant gloves that
protect hands, wrists, and forearms from flames and
radiant heat. This enables safe evacuation, isolation, or initial
containment until emergency services arrive. The kit is
vacuum-sealed, ready for immediate use, and supplied in a
protective storage box with clear instructions and expiry
information.
