Excel/Google Sheets remain some of the most widely used tools in WHS for data entry and analysis due to their familiarity and flexibility. These spreadsheet-oriented tools offer a huge range of functions to support importing, manipulating, and visualising data. Their accessibility and customisability make them suitable for a wide variety of users and tasks. However, they are very manual, prone to human error, and offer limited interactivity. The user interface and visual appeal are also generally poor compared to modern dashboard solutions.
