This anti-vehicle fence is comprised of a tensioned two wire rope system in a weave configuration supported by “I” cross-sectioned line posts, terminated at shallow anchor & ground posts and protected with a double-height “W” beam arrangement.

The beam fence consists of the following components:

• Anchor post
• Ground anchor
• Line post
• ‘W’ beam
• Wire rope
• Mechanical fittings

The anti-vehicle fence is tested to BSI PAS 68 and successfully stopped a 7,500kg vehicle at 48kph (30mph) with less than a meter penetration.

To protect the fence from corrosion and give it added longevity the steelwork has been hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO1461 as standard.

While the wire rope strands are zinc plated and HDPE coated as per EN 10264-2:2002 or EN 10255-2.
