The Point Defender PD500™ is a point location intrusion detection system designed for fence and underground deployment. It is the only copper fence sensor with cut-tolerance. By utilizing the Fiber SenSys patented End-to-End Correlation (E2EC™) technology, performance and reliability are greatly improved over other systems.
Designed with reliability and flexibility in mind, the system supports virtual zones, offers linear sensitivity with no hot or cold spots, and integrates power and data over a single sensing cable. The PD500 is ideal for critical perimeter security at correctional facilities, energy infrastructure, and high-value storage areas.
